Popcorn Flavoring System Description

Manufacturing process to create an oil based blend of ingredients used in the production of bagged microwavable popcorn.  This project included temperature controlled liquid bulk handling system for 2 separate products with truck fill capability.

System required  delivery of one of two bulk products to a batching vessel.  Bulk products are held at a specific temperature per process requirements.  Once bulk products are delivered the minor ingredients are added with 50lb bags.  System requires blending of the final batch and delivery to a holding vessel prior to packaging.  All batching tanks are heated to meet the process requirements automatically.

This popcorn flavoring system was controlled via automated PLC system including operating interfaces and safety interlocks.
